There is nothing left in me, Chameleon.
You took the last of it when you drew me in.
I always had known you were something special
But no one had prepared me for such an occupied vessel
With no room to hurt, and others pain to feel
At times I can't even believe that you are real
But even as now I know I am smitten with your smile
We must divide for something more than a short while
Because even though you mean everything to me
With another, you are content, this I see.
So when I see you laugh, I know I can't interfere
Even if letting you go has to bring me to tears
So, best of luck out there, in this world of despair
You were always one so honest and so fair
Shake off all the bad and let the worries be.
And forget you ever crossed paths with me.
cannot get over this girl. can't help but think she's "the one". i feel so pathetic for even saying that. all i ever tell people is that there is no "one" for them out there, there's just people you meet. but i'm starting to believe more and more as every excruciating day goes by that i missed my shot. and my "one" is gone for good. :(
but such is life, i suppose.
